Application Instructions (Home Iron)

  • Set iron dial between Cotton and Linen
  • Cover design with Kraft paper or non-stick cover sheet
  • Place on a flat, hard surface (ironing board not recommended)
  • Press iron with medium/firm pressure (do not slide iron)
  • Press each section of design for 20 seconds
  • If areas of design lift after application, replace cover sheet and re-press for 5-10 seconds
  • Peel carrier hot or cold

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

GIMME5 EVO is B-FLEX’s flagship product. It is available in over 60 colors and made from Polyurethane. It can be heat applied on organic or synthetic fibers in just four seconds.

This product is easy to work with; the sticky polyester carrier allows for fast weeding and easy repositioning of details that might have accidentally been removed. It is also soft and comfortable to wear, even with bulky designs.

Its thickness (90 micron) and its elasticity make GIMME5 EVO pleasant and soft on any garment, and ideal for multi-layer applications.

GIMME5 EVO can withstand wash cycles up to 60°C

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Mirror cut BF GIMME5 EVO with a 45° blade
  • Weed GIMME5 EVO and remove all excess material.
  • Pre-heat your press to 285°F (140°C).
  • Place the garment on the lower platen of your heat press.
  • Press at 285°F (140°C) for 4 seconds.
  • Peel the carrier.

The BF GLITTER SERIES is made up of 10 covering polyurethane films with glitter included into the working process. This type of processing guarantees the smooth,
shiny and glittered effect at the same time.

The semi-gloss thermo-adhesive makes the cutting line highly visible and its adhesive polyester backing allows for quick weeding and easy repositioning of accidentally removed characters.

The 100-micron thickness and its elasticity make the BF GLITTER series pleasant to the touch and conformable on any fabric and suitable for multilayer applications. It is
resistant to washing up to 60°C

HOW TO USE

  • Cut the BF GLITTER films in a specular way, with a 45° gradient blade.
  • Weed the BF GLITTER and remove the excess parts.
  • Turn on the press and bring the temperature to 145°C - 295°F.
  • Place the fabric on the press.
  • Place the graphic with the BF GLITTER film on the fabric.
  • Press at 145°C - 295°F for 10 seconds.
  • Remove the liner hot

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The BF MIRROR SOFT SERIES is a special thermo-adhesive film coated with a very glossy polyester sheet (PET), free of PVC, plasticizers or heavy metals, which gives it a shiny finish EVEN AFTER THE APPLICATION thanks to its thinness.

The cutting line is highly visible, and the workability of the product is simple; its polyester adhesive carrier allows for fast weeding and easy repositioning of any small details that might have accidentally lifted from the carrier.
The cutting plotters blade integrity significantly determines the workability of the film.

It is not suitable for multilayer applications.

HOW TO USE

  • Cut the BF MIRROR SOFT films in a specular way, with a 45°gradient blade.
  • Weed the BF MIRROR SOFT and remove the excess parts.
  • Turn on the press and bring the temperature to 150°C.
  • Place the fabric on the press.
  • Place the graphic with the BF MIRROR SOFT film on the fabric.
  • Press at 150°C for 12 seconds.
  • Wait 5-7 seconds before remove the liner.

Chunky mixes are approximately 3.0-3.5oz (not including bottle) by weight depending on the style/mix (Gone Coastal weights about 0.5oz less than other mixes.

USAGE CAUTIONS

  • Using a PH value above 7.5 may erode the electrodeposition and color.
  • Color bleed may occur in alcohol solvent products such as nail polish, always test before applying to final surface
  • Do not boil in water.
  • Avoid direct contact and/or pressurization with heat.

Inkjet printable matte finish permanent adhesive vinyl is specially designed for use with consumer grade inkjet printers (no laser printers) and can be used for print and cut operations with most any craft die-cutting machine. Print images using a standard inkjet printer and use print and cut technology with a die-cutting craft machine to cut around your image. Adhesive is permanent and waterproof. Appy to a smooth, clean, dry surface. Life expectancy is 1-3 Years Outdoors with average exposure to weather and elements. Severe conditions, detergents, and other factors may affect life of product outdoors.

Printing and Application Instructions

  1. Print image right-facing (do not mirror) using print-and-cut with your die-cutting machine software. Print on the plain white side (not the side with the logo watermark).
  2. Use your die-cutting software and machine to cut around image.
  3. Peel and stick image to surface. For best results, surface should be clean, dry, and smooth (non-porous). Do not use window or other ammonia-based cleaners. Isopropyl alcohol is recommended for cleaning surfaces prior to application.
  4. Use of transfer tape may damage printed image and is not recommended. Testing is recommended before using transfer tape. If you are using our UV Laminate to protect the image, transfer tape will not likely work or be difficult to use because the UV Laminate is specially formulated to repel adhesives, dirt, grime, and other contaminates.

Care Instructions

  1. Do not use in dishwasher or microwave.
  2. Inkjet printed vinyl can be more prone to damage if handled or exposed to harsh elements. For best protection, apply StarCraft UV laminate prior to cutting with your die-cutting machine and software. You may also use a third-party UV acrylic spray to protect your image (StarCraft only offers laminate options).
  3. We recommend feeding one sheet at a time when printing. Do not load with other media types. Some printers may have difficulty feeding thicker substrates such as printable vinyl, especially flat tray fed printers.

Protect your StarCraft inkjet printable adhesive vinyl designs using StarCraft Glossy UV Laminate. UV Laminate protects your design from harmful ultra-violet light sources. Our UV Laminate is specially made to repel adhesives, dirt, grime, and other contaminates.

  2. Apply StarCraft UV Laminate over the design carefully, avoiding air bubbles. A squeegee is recommended for application. It is not recommended to apply an entire sheet if not necessary, apply only enough to cover your printed design.
  3. Cut around your design using print and cut technology with a die-cutting machine and software. Additional pressure or multiple cuts is normally required since the laminate adds another layer.
  4. Peel and stick your design to a clean, dry, wax-free surface.

Additional Notes

Our UV laminate is specially formulated to repel dirt, water, and adhesives. This means the use of transfer tape may be difficult or even impossible. We recommend simply peeling and sticking your design onto the destination surface. If your design has small parts that are separated, this may complicate application.
